The Year According to LJ.
Uh... hm. That's it?! God, why does anyone even read me. Slim pickin's indeed. Grab from the first post from each month as a summary of your year - pretty easy when several months have but one, one has none, and pretty much all are about the kidlets. Insufferable! Disgusting! Sappy! Not even worthy of exclamation points.
And yet. 2007 was really very good to us. I was hard pressed to provide drama.
Jan
Took her to show her feet to Dada and then she counted her toes. One, two, fee, four, five, (then needed help...) kiss, neven, eight, nine! Nen!
Feb
We're always vulnerable on this day, especially Mom, and I'm very grateful the beautiful skies have stuck around. If the groundhog lived here, he'd say six more weeks of winter. I'd take it, if it meant that today would always be clear and good and clean.
Mar
Happy Birthday, Sweetiepea. We love you!
Apr
Alanis did a spoof. Black Eyed Peas. I had to look up the original and couldn't get more than 30 seconds through it. Bad bad bad bad bad bad. Hilarious!
May
It's true, I kiss my babies whether they want me to or not. Kiss you forever, kiss you for always, long as I'm living my kissee you'll be. Get used to it.
June
You are weirder than 73% of other LJers.
July
We have a big couch and tv in the basement now, in a cozy nook that's finished as far as we're concerned.
Aug
My mom has navigated safely to the age of 75 and taken us all along for the ride.
Sept
No tears at all! I lament my lack of overt emotion on this big day. Came home and needed a drink, or chocolate, or something slightly hardercore. Settled for baking a box of brownies stashed in the pantry for emergencies.
Oct
Nov
Each got a layer a couple-three bars thick on the bottom of their pails, not an obscene amount like what I've pilfered from the unclaimed stash.
Dec
So, trees. There is also a campy little light green mylar foil one in the basement since we pretty much live down here these days.

I won't resolve to post more next year, but I do hope to write in my 10+ year paper journal with the harmless four line per day, ten year per page setup. That could grease my gears.
Love to all of you and renewed hope in 2008.
