I missed yet another funeral today for the reason of me being here and it being back in new york. plus everyone likes to wait till the last minute to tell me. ps. that doesn't ever make me feel better about it. and its not like they are some one i know really well but that's not the point. i should be there to pay my respects. it was the father of kids i've known all my little. one was basically another brother to me and another son to my mother. i should have been there. i feel being away at school isn't a good enough reason anymore. i should have been there.
