Photographs TCG Reworkings / Update
Hello everyone! I'm here to say that there has been a major change in maintainership, in case this is the first you've heard and aren't up and up on the TCG news. Due to circumstances detailed in posts on the main community, our dear friend Cassidy is stepping down as maintainer of this community and has instated me with her job. I trust that you realize that this will prevent Photographs from being a website TCG and things will run mostly as the were prior to the updates, so there isn't need to fear! I'd just like to make a few things clear as this has happened quite suddenly and I don't want anyone to worry.
♡ All problems, questions, and concerns may be directed towards me. You can use this post or message me OR msn me if that is your thing. Just ask for my info, and I will gladly give it to you.
♡ There will be some changes made to the community, some major and some minor, over the next few days. Please bear with me as certain aspects may change and the possibility of layout changes and reposting and revamping (only slightly) of official service reposts so I can make edits as I please. Until everything is finalized, you don't need to relink or change anything. I will make a post after all changes are finalized and the ship is on track.
♡ In regards to the official service reposts, every post made after 7/24 will be awarded but a note will be made as to the new post. Please do not fret if it takes me more than a second to respond to these since I am just getting my sea legs and haven't fully gotten the gist of the inner workings here.
♡ The release will still happened as planned and hopefully on time! I hope that this will only be a minor setback and the latest I could see it being is the weekend of the 5th.
♡ There WILL be some changes with game scheduling, though not immediately, as well as distribution of services. Any major changes will probably be handled after the release dies down. I do realize there are only 10 days before the release is supposed to happen, and that is my main concern since it will effect not just me and the mods, but all players as well. I don't want to see a repeat of the previous releases which I knew were a little rushed and hectic. Trying to smooth this transition will be my main goal and priority.
♡ Concerning mod pay, I know that it is late and I will apologize on Cassidy's behalf for that. If you would please allow me to get my bearings here and then deal with that, it would be much obliged. I also am tossing around the idea of treating it more as a service instead of making mods go to the randomizer themselves. This way it will be me linking you your cards and putting in a tagline, much like the film shop does, concerning what you've received. This way you just have to save and copypaste instead of saving and having to type out everything yourself.
♡ I also want to take this time to say two things: one ; Hello everyone! I know some of you be it from trading around or old lj friends, but I would like to formally introduce myself. I'm Twiggy and I look forward to taking this TCG journey with you. two ; All input and help is encouraged! I'm kind of new at this so please bear with me.
Please feel free to message or comment here with your questions, concerns, or just...anything! Also, it would help me if you could just briefly tell me all of your mod responsibilities and your interactions with Cassidy concerning them. I know that sounds weird but I don't want to rock the boat too much and I'll try to make this change as flush as possible. Thank you for your time and I hope I can do as wonderful a job as Cassidy has with running this place!
