Only In NYC....
So I took a walk today in LES (Lower East Side for those outside of NYC) with my shiny new 5D Mark II. The idea was to get a little street photography done and test the system to see how well it performs. While walking around I noticed a woman taking photos with a point and shoot of a nice young girl in front of a boutique. I thought “Hey this looks cool” and watched for a few minutes thinking that she was photographing one of customers and left it at that.
About a half hour later I’m passing by the same shop - Hairy Mary’s Vintage & Design - and saw the same woman (who’s name I learned was Patricia) shooting the same young lady (who’s name is Lena) in a completely different outfit. It was a very cool outfit! Well after introducing myself and showing a little of my work, Patricia asked me if I would like to shoot Lena in an outfit or two...
