(no subject)
Jillian's birthday today. We had a grilling extravaganza in my back yard, just the two of us. :) It was awesome. And everything turned out perfectly, which was amazing considering my ghetto-ass mother fuckin grill. I baked a coconut cream pie with home made blueberry/raspberry syrup. yay! Jillian helped me sort through my color drama, and after a lot of painful deliberation I have narrowed it to two possible color pairs. I will meditate on the two tonight, and make a final decision tomorrow. Whew. bleh.
On a side note: I LOVE hardware stores. I recall a post I made shortly after moving out here to the same effect, that being: I never thought of them as a place where I would go and get giddy about half the stuff there. But I DO. I LOVE going to the hardware store. My art has shifted such that I now find the hardware store as much of a candy shop as fabric stores. Crazy, I know, but there you have it.
I fly home EARLY Friday morning, and I will return Monday afternoon, just in time to unpack, shower, and head for the Shadowrun game at Gilman. Then Tuesday night I have Trevor's Runequest game. Thursday is the d20 game in West Oakland. (...) How did I get myself into THREE games a week? I do not know. I also don't know how long I will keep it up before I go mad. The bright side is that I can at least bring work to sew while I'm playing. It will keep me from being totally unproductive.

OH shane: it is now time to decide what color ribbon you want around your hat. Possibilities (in order of most casual to most dressy): dark, to blend in with the hat, narrow light ribbon on top of a wide dark ribbon, or light to contrast with the hat. Let me know. :)
