Holy poop, did I have a day.
Furthered developments on my labels, went to an interview (at a really cool place, but I don't think I'll take the job cos they are mainly looking for full time work), posted my business ad in the Oakland Tribune, and looked at an apartment/studio space for me and Jillian. I rode my bike around like crazy.
also, and here's the really exciting part: I had a major breakthrough on Shane's hat last night and today. I have been avoiding it because I was so frustrated with the results thusfar that I've developed a mental block around it. It was affecting my progress on Bayly's hat as well. But last night I said fuck it, I'm going to get this done. So I sat down and just did it. And it worked! So last night I hammered out the brim, and this afternoon I conquered the crown. Now I am waiting for them to dry, and I will attach them tomorrow. Possibly I'll bring them to DnD with me. In addition, I was so inspired by my success with the fedora that I picked up the cloche again and made some much-needed modifications. It now has much smoother (ie: more professional) lines, and is a way more attractive shape.
Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to tweak the brim a little. I think I fucked it up, but I also think I can fix it. haha. oi.
