It took me a lot longer than usual to get into the Falcon Ridge mindset this year. Still, I can't fathom a summer without going to the fest so I mustered up the energy and got myself together. Below is a series of probably disjointed observations/thoughts/comments about the 2009 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.

"Great Day" is my all time favorite get off to a good start song. I use it frequently while running in the morning.

Go ahead and get technical on me :-p Given the circumstances of Big Scary Thunderstorm coming over the hill after last year's microburst, still fresh in all of our memories, it felt rather dirgelike to be hearing that song.
