This is my first week participating in the awesome
Ashley Sisk‘s
Scavenger Hunt Sunday. And by “week” I mean that late Saturday night I read the entry and became determined to find all the shots at Easter lunch with Mark’s parents yesterday. Ashley’s had this
photo meme going on for such a long a long time and it’s really something I need to start doing regularly to challenge myself. She posts the whole hunt items a week in advance and more time would have been better! I feel like I’m really stretching on some of these items.
1. Reflections
Aperture: f/3.2 - ISO 400 - Shutter Speed: 1/25. 50mm lens.
Every time I see a picture I’ve taken in a reflection I realize I hold my camera all wrong. I blame it on the lightness of the 50mm. It kind of feels ridiculous to put my left hand under the tiny lens. It does feel more necessary with the 18-105mm lens, but still I just forget.
Though I haven’t taken a
self portrait in a couple of weeks, I’m not sure whether or not I want to include this one. I probably should!
