Happy Canada Day!
A very happy Canada Day to our neighbours to the North. (And my mother.)
It has been so great catching up with everybody over the last few weeks. Although now that I've been here for a month (as of tomorrow) I'm beginning to feel a little displaced. Thank goodness for a roof over my head, etc. but it would be nice to have my own apartment again.
I applied for Unemployment from Hawaii (at the suggestion of my therapist) and at one point I was told I had been accepted. (Woohoo!) But yesterday I got a little notice thing that said they're still thinking about it due to my "availability". I don't know what that means.
