I've been busy
Things are going well right now. School is well. My grade was finally changed giving me a 3.385 for the term. Mere points off of Dean's List. Damn! Oh well. Starting out this semester well. Going to the Library a lot to do work, but I'm still enjoying myself as well. Photography is amazing, we're in the lab tomorrow. I cannot wait!<3 MIS is shitty, but I am doing my research paper on the progression of Photography so that will be decent! I am so psyched to get out of here and go to Photography school> it definitely is my passion. I knew I always loved photography, but today in the lib it really hit me. When All I wanted to do was sit on the floor in front of the photography section and read every book they had there. I never like to read haha. Children's Lit is a cool class. I like my professor a lot and it's very interesting in general. Finanical Mgt sucks, but the people in the class are getting me by. HR is kinda boring, but easy none the less.
I've been hanging out a lot more which I think is what I needed. Especially with my lovely roomie. She is wonderful. Been chilling a lot more lately. I've scanned out to meet some people in my dorm, on my floor. Almost got written up the other night for drinking though haha. Figures, the first night I actually chill with people here. Oh well. So yeah that was on Thursday. Friday I was a 6th grade Math/Science teacher. I taught the kids about Escher and weather. It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the day greatly. Friday night went to Nic's show at the Underground. It was good times. Brought JoeRo and Lovell with me, nice to see them. I really do miss the home crowd. Like I'm sure I mentioned already. Saw Jo and Matt again. And Colin! He's home from Scottland! Yay! As well as Dave. And Lisa and Jessay! And Forever in Motion and Starefall guys of course. Always good to see everyone. Ended up coming home...Lisa got stuck in the snow. I had to push her out haha. interesting times. Saturday I chilled all day and then ended up going to Matty and nick Smith's place on Church St with Nic and Sam. Brought Nic down the road to meet up with Tyler and Pat and Dan and them at Dan's place. Staied tehre for a bit and headed back to Nick's. Then we headed out to the swim house. This was the first like off campus party I attended all school year (minus tobias'). It was decent. Not too many people there, but just enough to make it fun. Very chill. Talked with this kid Dave in my classes. Never had talked to him before haha. Then played pong with Matty against Eli and Nic. Good times. Ran into Brendon! I haven't seen him in sooo long. All the guys either. They were in Austrailia last term. Now they're home, I'm psyched. Today I just chilled. Spent a good portion of the day in the Lib with Timmy doing MIS research/homework. Then we went to Wally world. I 've been doing Luandry/cleaning/homework ever since. I need to dry my clothes but the machines are all taken. Dumb. Umm yep. It's been a good weekend. I wish I could have seen Jon at the show but he didn't come down. oh well. Next weekend definitely. Klingnpeel's turning 21! Word. Jake's coming home for a week from Fl, it'll be cool to see him.
I've been thinking a lot about new ink lately. Like my 1/2 sleeve...it's going to be amazing. A new aged, stylize camera...with music stuff coming out the lense going down my arm...I want to take one of my pictures of a person or a band playing and so a sillotet of it on my arm out of the cam...it'll be amazing. then the glass heart idea too. i've been expanding on that but i'm not sure if it's too much. I need $$ first though. i want to get it done so badly. Maybe when I am in FL (if i go) i can get some shit done. There are some amazing artists down at the shop(s) I may be hanging out at...here's hoping.
As for the week ahead: Tomorrow is the first day in the Darkroom! Word. I'm psyched. I'm getting more ink done tomorrow night. i can't wait. 2 more sessions and my wings are done! Word. It'll be a good time. Haven't chilled with Mike in awhile. Ummmm, Classes tues, weds, thurs. MAybe work Friday I don't know. Hopefully a night of drinking in there somewhere...Friday night I am going to Albany with Mike to see AGNOSTIC FRONT with Madball, and With Honor. It'll be an amazing show. I hope it doesn't get snowed out! I might head up to Ludlow after we get back to chill with Jon and everyone. Then...yeah we shall see.
