Some stuff from Good Friday.
So, John heyu1021 and I went riding around looking for stuff to photograph in places that we haven't really been before. We tried going down Bull Run Rd but didn't really find anything interesting. The only thing we found was a really old, historical church.
We ended up going back to town. After riding a bit more into town I finally said we should run down Bayou Black and see what they have down there towards Gray. I saw a few abandoned houses that I wouldn't have minded stopping at but I don't think John was too keen on that idea so I didn't say anything. We were getting a bit too far into coonass territory so we turned around and headed back to town. We ended up going see The Reaping which was okay. He dropped me off because he had to go to work eventually.
It was such a beautiful day so I headed out on my own to Lumen Christi to try some IR images.

And the same tree again normally.
I really liked that tree for whatever reason and I am actually surprised at how colourful this shot came out. I'm really happy about that. :)
Tech specs:
First IR: Canon 18-55mm EF-S f/5.6 with a step up ring and Hoya R72.
Post-processed the hot spot the lens gives. Let me know if it's visible.
Second and third IR: Canon 50mm EF f/1.8 II with Hoya R72.
It was a pretty productive day overall. I got a few nice shots out of it. I plan on going down Dularge again to see what I can find at the end of the world of the island.
I guess that's it for now. I need to get working on the 7917507 things that I have for school.
