Headed out to Lumen Cristi and Laurel Valley yesterday.
I shot mainly IR with my digital and some b/w film for school.
That was the only IR shot that came out properly. D: I don't know what went wrong; I think it was just too cloudy and late in the evening for IR. I couldn't get a long enough exposure. Bleh.
I don't really have much of anything else from yesterday and I don't really care for anything that did come out. It was just not a good photo day at all.
And now I shall spam you with sunset pictures. Haha!

The very last thing I have to say is WTF is up with this damn rain! It seems that anytime I am going to have time to go out and take pictures somewhere or whatever, it's going to rain. It rained yesterday right as John and I were leaving. Thankfully though, by the time we got to Thibodaux it had passed there and it wasn't even wet (so maybe it hadn't rained there at all). But still! Ugh. And also, we did go to Lumen Cristi which was a horrible decision on my part. It was muddy and wet and there were MOSQUITOES EVERYWHERE. I have bites all over me. There were also giant banana spiders. *shudders* And I will also never wear flip-flops to go photoing ever again. My feet were so dirty. D:

Other than the mishaps of the weekend photo adventures, things have been going good. We're working on photograms and I processed my first roll of film without any troubles. We also got our first assignment for photo which I can't wait to really get started on. I just need to find some better locations. That's always the biggest problem. :/ Other school stuff is going fine, just boring is all.
And dear God, I swear. My female gerbil is still not doing all that well. She's still eating and drinking and overall she's fine, but she still has a headcock and it still makes me so sad to see her like that. And now TODAY I go check on the gerbs and feed them when I notice that one of my BOYS is bleeding / secreting from his eyes and his ear. :O I think he got into it with one of the others in the cage. The other two are fine, but I took him out to clean him up and it looks like he has a cut right next to his ear. :(((( They are killing me with all this worry and guilt.
I got my House for PR. Hahah. I got sorted into the Bellereve House, which is funny because it's the house of writers and authors and we all know how much I suck / do not like writing. Oh man. It is truely hilarity. I am about to make a post to phoenixchat asking how they did the sorting because SO NOT ME. Rotfl. I also still need to book our room. :x
Also, yay for new characters at wtf_drarry!!!
