I like the first and last the most, the others are okay and the second-to-last looks like a hallmark card for someone whose family member just passed away.

I was the editor of the St. Bernard Guide newspaper for a few years back in the 1980s, and what happened there still breaks my heart a year later, even though my connection was long ago.
I would only remind people that, while St. Bernard took much more of the brunt of the storm than did New Orleans, that in the end it was the defective levees and the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet that killed St. Bernard.

It is truly terrible to see the before and after of what's there. It was heartbreaking to go there and to see these houses with nothing left to them. They were either gutted or torn down completely. It's a shame that after a year has almost come and gone that these places still have yet to be fixed.
