Decided to give Rosta a shot this evening after trying out the Chicken McGrill last week. Here's my verdict.
Latest offering by the Golden Arc. A piece of chicken thigh meat top with fresh tomato, lettuce and special mayo sauce between their specially baked sourdough bread. The veg are fresh and succulent. The chicken patty is favourful and tender. One of the better burger offered by Mac. $8.05 for the value meal(without the shaker fries). Rather expensive IMHO.
This burger has been around for a while but I've yet to try it till tonight. The patty is big and juicy. Pity KFC opted to use the regular lettuce they have in their other burger. The photo they used for marketing do not reflect the actual meal purchased! At $7.20 for the value meal, it's certainly more value for money than Mac's.
Overall, I find that KFC still offer better chicken patty than Mac. If only they can put that extra effort to add fresh veg to their burger and creating a complimentary sauce to go with the burger. Mac's patty seems pathetic when compare to KFC but they managed to make their burger better with their special sauce and fresher veg choice. However, both outlets can do better with their pricing... TOO EXPENSIVE! Even Subway offer cheaper meals!
Ok, enough fast food for the season. ;p
