hi! i know i've slipped into the world of never poster ever since i started to work. it really is hard to do so... especially since lj is blocked at school (understandably so.)
anyway, it's been mostly work work work lately. tomorrow my 3rd graders are performing an all american song performance which will hopefully be good. songs include oh susanna, old paint, fifty nifty... among others. this will be my 3rd performance as a gen music teacher! 1st grade did a musical, 2nd grade did international and now 3rd has american. exciting.
really all i do now is teach, watch tv, clean, eat, sleep, and hang out with bill. i'm really one of the lamest saddest persons you'll ever meet... which is ok since i'm fine with it... most of the time. there are days that i'm sad and lonely, but i'm usually so tired that it doesnt matter.
weekends are spent with bill. this weekend we went bowling for the first time as a couple. he kicked my butt pretty bad, but i did scare him with a strike on my first attempt during our 2nd round. he won with a combined score of 205 to 122. it's nice to see him win. i always feel bad since i kick his butt really bad at board games. not that i don't like winning, but i wish it was a bit more even.
things are mostly good. housing is not so much. not having a pet is not so much. bill being far away is not so much. but other than that, things are good.
