Many people have heard of Greyfriar's Bobby ... the dog that sat by his Master's grave for years. Well, he is buried near his owner, and near the man who looked after him.
A couple of times a week the Church officials have to clear the "gifts", as you can see here - sticks are left for him by people visiting the Churchyard.
