This was a few years ago now. At 21 my daughter dropped out of Hunter College a couple of courses short of receiving a B.A. in English Language and Literature. Years later started over in the School of Natural and Behavior Sciences at Brooklyn College--a whole new world. When she finally was awarded her B.S. in Psychology it was huge big deal for her. She is now doing extremely well in graduate school at Fordham University.

We were in the nosebleed section of a massive auditorium (holds 20,000 and it was packed) and I assumed I would not be able to get a picture of her when to my great surprise her face appeared on one of the overhead video monitors and I snapped this shot of her. I think the cameraman must have liked her face because he kept coming back to her. So I had several chances. This one was my favorite.

It was the biggest, loudest, most raucous, emotional, as well as the most female and diverse university commencement ceremony I ever attended and I have been to more than a few. Very moving! (I did crop my shot, but banner was on the screen as shown.)
