MERRY CHRISTMAS
well, mine was. for some reason, my christmas experience this year was way better than before. much less hectic, last-minute, argumentative. even though i bought my gifts two days before, it seemed way more lax. and there wasnt a lot of yelling like usual. the dinner was excellent. mass, i did not fall asleep (i think this is my move to manhood.) my materalistic side was satisfied as well. i got a very nice bath robe and slippers. also some mittens, a movie, a cd, and because my parents couldnt find anything else for me, a hundred dollars. my family is also very good at carrying on jokes. various odd ones. like my dad asking where the girl was when we opened my parents mattress cover. (she was pictured on the front). my mom just made a quip about it just now. weird. ok, that wasnt that funny. anyways. we went to the setlas today, and that was much more mellow than usual. played SUPERSCRABBLE, which is basically scrabble on a bigger board. came home and watched hot shots. and now im sitting, talking to friends, listening to ozma and the weakerthans, and being rather pleased with how these things work out.
im looking forward to this week. tomorrow i have plans to spend some time with alissa, minneapolis is in the works for tuesday. wade and i spoke briefly of skiing/snowboarding wednesday, thursday is in the air, friday as well, and saturday is new years. i love this too much. my brothers are home which is nice. we are the perfect set of boys for a four player game on the gamecube. the perfect nerdy boys. we get so competitive, but its incredible fun. im in a feel good mood right now.
