went to see the brothers grimm last night. i shall make a pro con list for your enjoyment
PROS:
heath ledger.
random bits of humour that were actually funny ( ie: when the nerdy brother is biting his pen and twirling the hair on his helmet like a little girl when angelina is talking= fabulous )
the lead girl, angelina, was actually a relatively cool female character and wasnt just all boobs and " oh, save me, brothers grimm! i am a helpless damsel who cannot figure out the mechanics of this doorway! oh, please come open it! "
CONS: the ending was the most cliche of all cliche. you know the one, the same ending i'm sure I used when i was in grade 4 trying to finish writing 5 short stories in 2 classes because I was, and always will be, a total slacker? the one that's like " the end...or maybe not" yeah. that one. the one they use so they can make a mindless sequal that no one is going to watch and will most likely go directly to video 2 weeks after it's released. I applaud your writing skillz, whoever the hell made this movie.
verdict:
wait till it comes out on video. instead of paying 10$ to see it, rent pulp fiction, keep it for about a week after it's due back and that'll be a 10$ well spent. better yet, use the money you were going to spend renting the brothers grimm and put it along with that 10$ and buy the royal tenenbaums.
