For the people who wonder why I have lots of time
(during our thesis advising two weeks ago)
The Adviser: When can you submit your Chapter 5- Data Gathering and Interpretation?
Me: Er, can I have two weeks? I can submit it on Sept 19.
The Adviser: No, just submit it before.... SEMBREAK.
Yes, there goes my first- ever INC in my whole college life.
But it wasn't really the decision of my thesis adviser--- I also wanted it. Although I really feel bad about it, I still prefer it to cramming my whole thesis and do another Jesus-take-the-wheel effect just to try to defend my masterpiece this month. That's almost impossible given my tight debate schedule (NDC + Lourdes Training for PSDC) and because I'm just lazy like that. Oh well, there's nothing wrong with having an INC aside from it being recorded in my transcript, but it's fine by me because I know it's going to be replaced by a very good grade anyway. And perhaps, the most coveted Best Thesis nomination.
But before all those things, I have to secure myself a copy of Wordsmith Tools first, the software I'll be using for my thesis. Fxck you laptop thief. Ipapakulam kita.

Right now, I'm looking for a cheap and good laptop. I'm tight on budget given that I'm using my own money (the parents already explicitly said that they're not buying me a new one), so I need a laptop for just 30K. I already have a shortlist of the laptops that I want, and I'm even considering UMPCs (I <3 the HP Mini Note!). But as of now, I'm leaning towards buying the HP 520 Notebook. It costs PhP29,999, and the specs are already okay.

I just want a Dual Core lappie with at least 1GB of RAM and I'd already be happy. I'm very easy to please, good thing I don't play DOTA and the like. But the worst case scenario is buying an MSI Wind, just because it's fancy and cheap (20K lang sya).
Sabi ko nga kina Jonjon dati, "Hindi ako makagawa ng thesis dahil wala akong laptop". If you just know how sucky the desktop here at home I'm using right now is, you'd understand my pain.
