Halloween Ideas

I've been thinking about my halloween costume for 2009 since November 1, 2008. I put a lot of thought into this stuff...mostly because I don't have anything else to do. I've narrowed it down to 5 or 6 choices.

Jamie from Mythbusters:
Pros: Cheap. Recognizable.
Cons: Skull-caps require all kinds of extra makeup to make it look right. Plus, finding the right beret is harder than you'd expect.

Cobra Commander:
Pros: Awesome looking, and very recognizable.
Cons: Without a sewing-machine, very hard to make. And I don't really want to wear the helmet all night, but without the helmet it's just silly.

Megabyte (from Reboot):
Pros: Looks awesome
Cons: Slightly hard to make. And only 3 people would recognize it.

Doc Brown or Marty McFly:
Pros: Easy, recognizable, a little dorky, but in a good way.
Cons: Almost too easy. And possibly too common. I would imagine I'd run into, like, 5 other Marty's

The Monarch:
Pros: I wore it last year, so it's everything I'm looking for.
Cons: I wore it last year. Do I want to be the guy that wears the same costume two years in a row?

Any of the characters from Avatar: The Last Air Bender:
Pros: I like the show.
Cons: Too anime. That's too dorky, even for me.
