Turning 26
A couple of weekends ago, several events occurred at once: Paul’s wedding, Jason’s Master’s Degree graduation, and my birthday. It was a great excuse for everyone to be in town at the same time.
It was very fun to have most of the old group in town together. We went out to eat for just about every meal, and lots of reminiscing ensued.
While it’s hard to beat the multiple Batman cakes I received last year (not to mention the laser-tag matches), it was equally fun to just hang out with the old Nerdhouse/1208 people.
But as Tom said, "now you're on the ass-end of your 20’s.” Meaning I’m closer to 30 than I am to 20. It’s a little sad, but what’re you gonna do? I might not be able to stay up past 3am (both because of work, and because my old age is causing me to get sleepy by 1am), but I have money…and that’s good too.
