LSU Speech Team Situation
With all the budget cuts at LSU, it finally happened...
The Speech and Debate team will lose their university funding next year. It was already a small sum to begin with (depending on who you ask, anywhere from $6000 to $4000 a year). But now it's 0.
Although, with professors losing tenure and whole departments getting cut, the speech team losing their funding isn't much to complain about. But still, it sucks that the team might completely disappear.
Time to start hitting up the alumni for some cash.
