I made an entry one month ago saying that I floss daily. This is still the case, which is a good sign for the ol' chompers. Once I hit about a month of motivating myself into new habits, it usually sticks. Usually.
That said, I've been running for about three weeks now and I think it's going to stick. I don't really know why I decided to pick it up again, but it's pretty satisfying, so I won't try to pin a reason to it. I'd like to get to the point where I run daily, but right now I'm hovering in the 4-5 days a week range. So far my best showings have been 13:30ish for 2-miles (3200 meters technically, as it's all on a track) and about 23 minutes for a 3-miles (5000 meters). I feel pretty embarrassed by those times, especially if some of the runner friends I have read this, but I suppose they're pretty good considering my spotty training routine.
Personal Goals for Running:
-5 minute mile by my 21st birthday (July 17)
-10 minute 2-mile by August 1st
-20 minute 5k by August 1st
-Run the Turkey Day Race (a 10k / 6.2 mile) and run it in under 45 minutes.
Oh and I'm also working 40-hours a week in the warehouse at my dad's office for the summer.
...hmm.
