If there's a class that has thirty or fewer people in it, I think UC's bookstore should be required to have enough books for all of the students in that class to get one. I mean granted they have to keep their own costs in mind, everyone might not buy a book, etc. But come on. We pay a shit ton to go to UC and the mark up on text books has got to be absurdly high. They can sell the extra ones to DuBois or the Student Bookstore, return them to the supplier, or even sell them to DAAP students at wholesale price for some kind of giant-leftover-book-from-the-bookstore-abstract-Iraq-War-protest-sculpture-piece. Or something.
Hell, I'd even be happy with a 10% discount if the book is not in stock. C'mon. Throw us a bone here Nancy.
