Fic-writin' meme I did a few days ago (got it from
hi_falootin):
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over.
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
I did this meme and I wrote about our favourite fandom Narnia (Susan/Caspian pairing). Don’t expect any brilliant writing here, but it was kind of fun to do. The drabbles are very, very short, seeing as you only have the time of a song to write. And I write really slow.
Somehow I ended up with two French songs on my shuffle, so for those of you who don’t know any French: blame my ipod. I only posted 8, because 2 of them were complete crap. If any of you want me to upload the songs (or translate some of the lyrics), let me know.
1) Carla Bruni - Quelqu’un m’a dit (Susan/Caspian)
I miss her deeply. Queen Susan, the Gentle. Too short a time I had with her. She was gone too soon. Lost like a flower that had no time to bloom.
Only two return to Narnia. Just as Aslan promised.

Years pass and I hear her voice vagely, softly. I see her traits, the lines of her face, vagely, but soon they will vanish too and nothing will be left of her but a whisper.

3) Norah Jones - Those Sweet Words (Susan/Caspian)
He doesn’t say anything but the look in his eyes betray him.
She needs to hear him say it.
She doesn’t say anything but she stands by him in everything he does.
He needs to hear her say it.
It’s time they say it. Those three words. Those sweet words.
I love you.
4) The Perishers - Sway (Susan/Married!Caspian)
They can never go back. It can never be the way it was before. He is married now. She was never supposed to come back.
He couldn’t wait forever. Right?
She doesn’t blame him. She supports him still. In that gentle voice of hers. Just like before.
He watches and sees her eyes linger only because his eyes linger too.
5) Axelle Red - Je t’attends (Susan/Caspian)
All these strangers around me. They don’t know me. You knew me better. Better than any of them.
I look for ways to forget but it doesn’t work. All roads lead back to you.
I know now that what they say is true:

6) Dido - Don’t leave home (Susan/Caspian) Yeah, inspiration was low on this one...

AN: I just wrote down the lyrics of the Damien Rice song, because they already are so beautiful and fitting. I just couldn’t write anything else when I was listening to that song. As for some of others: yes, they are corny, I know.
