I don’t know if there are words to describe the taste of her lips.
It was something sweet that was lost and never found again. Sweet like the dream you forget the moment you open your eyes. Sweet like everything that is beautiful and far away and lost.
It was something sad, like the song that makes you cry the first time you hear it. Sad like every love song that makes you cry. It was something painful, something like goodbye. It was something. Something.
I don’t know if there are words that catch the scent of her skin. If there were words, I would write them down. If there were words, I would learn them by heart.
I don’t know if there are words that reflect the light in her eyes. Words that capture the warmth I feel when she touches me. Words that explain the feeling of her hair at my fingertips. Words that define the softness when I kiss her closed eyes.
If there were words, I would write them down. So I could remember her always when she's gone.
If I had known, I would have written them down. Now nothing can bring her back to me.
