Today I went to class at 8am but my professor did not go to class at 8am. I had a 2 hour gap between 8am and 10am so I just did homework in the library. Que triste! Biochem is intense because the tutor went over everything about glycolysis and I was scrambling to copy everything down. I talked about wanting a new laptop again, so I think this summer, I'll really hound my dad to get me one. Mine was giving me problems last night because it was SUPER SLOW. Probably not a Mac, though, because I don't want to spend that much money and Windows Vista is pretty.
I'm doing my accounting assignment and analyzing Hilton Hotels. I like doing the research, but I don't like being time pressured to churn out a report. I just got off the phone with Angel, one of the girls in my Econ and Accounting class, and she said that she stayed up all night yesterday to finish the project, even though it's not due until tomorrow!! I'm so impressed with her discipline because she reminds me of how I used to be back in high school. Anyway, doing investor research is really fun because it's so applicable to real life and stocks are exciting. I've been wasting more time than needed reading up on Hilton, especially since they just bought this other hotel chain and significantly increased their liabilities.
This morning, my contact got stuck in my eye. I don't know how it happened, but it was scary and I freaked out. Thankfully, after I closed my eyes a couple of times, it went back onto my eyeball, but it made me wonder what I would have done had it just stayed lodged behind my eye. That's something hard-contact users need to think about a lot.
I think I'm getting wrinkles, no joke. Alexis Bledel has wrinkles. I saw it on Gilmore Girls. I was looking at pictures of some girls from my high school and I could see their wrinkles too. Anyway, I'm scared because I'm almost 20 and there are wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead. Sometimes, I catch myself frowning or wrinkling my face without even meaning to. Do I frown/wrinkle while I sleep too? I need sunscreen. My cousins in China who are in their 20s get weekly facial massages and buy lots of skin cream. I'm starting to think I need it too (except that I'm too poor to pamper myself).
Day 5 Summary:
Sleep: 12:30am-7:00am (My alarm went off at 6:30am and I sat up at 6:34am, so I don't know if my alarm actually went off or not because I don't recall it beeping. Then I slept for 30 more minutes because I was impressed that I even woke up and wanted to reward myself)
Food: Egg white omelet (450), Oatmeal (200), Banana (80), Chicken Wonton Salad (500), Cheeseburger (500), French Fries (210), Blueberry muffin (130), A slice of delicious Fruit Tart from Whole Foods and a delicious cookie (est 250). Total: 2320 calories =O
I didn't Tae Bo today because I was too tired (my mom said I should go work out because if I didn't go, I would sleep instead -- she was right), so that's 2320 calories plus no Tae Bo. OMG!! I didn't know that French Fries had that many calories, but I really shouldn't have eaten all that dessert today. Otherwise, I would be at 1730 calories, which is a decent number for a 16-hour day.
