Sorry. The only carbonated caffeinated beverage I ingest on a semi-regular basis is Diet Dr. Pepper. And Mr. Pibb just isn't the same.

On an unrelated note, I am quite frankly stunned that you have not participated in this yet.

I just found out about it, and was contemplating my response while looking for the combination to the office gun safe. As soon as I secure the premisis, I'll post a warning to others.

Fortunately, I called in sick to work today with a headache so bad that the ringing of the phone damn near made my brain explode. I think I should be safe here in my apartment. And if they manage to find me, I intend to use Catherine's projectile shedding as a distraction while I move to safer ground.

Good plan. That cat sheds enough that you should be able to keep them busy for a long, long time.

Do you think your headache is going to last 8 or 9 more days? ;)

No - I actually think I'm psychosomatically sick. It seems like whenever it's not vital that I be at work at/before 8am, I wake up with a screamingly horrible headache. Today, I'm supposed to be seeing appointments, but none were scheduled. So even though I'm not at work, none of my internmates are having to pick up any slack.

Now don't ignore the symptoms just because it's psychosomatic. As someone who isn't a doctor on television, I advise you to stay home, and get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids. You should try to stay away from work for at least another week, as much as possible.
