Bleue en Rouge!

So if you didn't figure it out back during the Olympics, I freaking love Canada. No seriously, I have a right to citizenship there and everything and I only live like six miles away (and an hour from Montreal). And also, I have become a fan of many sports that...if it wasn't for college, family, and of course...some of my own writing (because I had to write about something I know jack shit about) before hand I didn't care much for. Hockey being the big one.

Well, thanks to CHOM 97.7, the radio station I listen to every single day on my way in, during, and out of work...I have actually kept pretty decent track of the eastern NHL games this season (oh yeah and did I mention I saw the Sens vs. the Sabers on Apr. 10th? Free Tickets FTW).

It's that time of year, boys and girls, for the Stanley Cup! :)

CHOM is of course all over Montreal Habs. So I have been just slightly brainwashed to cheer for the bleue en rouge (though, maybe that also had something to do with the fact I made a character in my original works a Habs hockey player) and the family...almost everyone in the whole family...roots for the Bruins. Stories have been told about how Bobby Orr became Santa Clause for several years of my uncle's life.

I missed a lot of the games because of a bunch of stuff, but I did see that awesome overtime game with the Bruins and the Sabers. GO BRUINS.

But nothing made me happier than to hear that the underdog team, the Montreal Habs, stuck it to the Washington Caps tonight and are moving forward with the Bruins.

I am SO tempted....so so so tempted to get tickets (at $200 a person) for the Habs home game in the Montreal Bell center.

This commercial rocks my socks. LOL. I should be ashamed of myself. LOL
