Hello my friends, it sure has been some time since I've updated this thing. Things have been going, moving ever onward along this crazy journey called life. As the year comes closer to ending, I find other things ending as well, but also many new potential beginnings. My Yearandthensome Wicca class will be ending this Friday. Boy was that a journey! It was great to finally learn and work the Craft with a group of people. Don't get me wrong, I learned quite a bit with you all in Open Grove, and I loved the works and rituals that we did together, but sometimes it was haphazard. But that's what I get from working with a bunch of solitaires! lol It was really nice having a set curricular from which to learn and explore. I finally truly understand what everyone was talking about when they said that they could "feel" energy. I finally can! I'm not as sensitive as some, but I can finally feel it, and understand what I'm feeling. And I've finally begun to listen to my intuition. To those I've read the cards to, I've finally begun to read without the book! I still sometimes use to deepen the reading, but I don't rely on it as entirely as I once did, especially at the Psychic Fairs. Now that this class is over, I have to decide what I want to do on my religious journey. Initiation is a possibility that I'm considering. What's interesting is that I have the choice of initiating twice. There was this whole big thing between my teachers and the group that I've joined from whose tradition the class is being taught from. Basically, they seceded from the group, and I have the choice of initiating with both my teachers and the group. Interesting, eh? I'm still unsure what I want to do. That's a big committment to make. Contemplation still required.
On the work front, I'm still doing what I've been doing for a year now, but just a lot less of it. I quit my job across the water last August, so now I'm just working at Poulsbo. The job is not getting any more interesting. All I do is put away books, and not all of them are interseting to me (which is probably a good thing, or I"d spend all my time reading through them, and is it is, I do that too much!). Something's got to change in order to keep my interest, not to mention give me enough money so that I might move out of my parents' house in the somewhat near future. There's a possibility that I might get a library assistant job (circulation staff) here at Poulsbo. I interview for that position this Friday. We'll see. I've applied a lot for this one, so I'm not so confident that they'd hire me as I used to be.
Nothing new or interesting in my love life. No special someone as of yet to spend the holidays with.
However, there is something exciting on the winds to look forward to, and so might some of you. In a couple of weeks (I can't believe it's so soon!) I'll be making a small trip to Michigan. Our dear friend Shadow Jew is getting married on December 29th, and I just have to come to his wedding to see him off. =D. Since its so close to Chrismas and all, I decided to extend my trip about a week to visit my relatives and such. On my way to Roger's house on the 26th, I'll be passing through the greater Mount Pleasant area. I'm willing to travel really early so as to spend as much time as possible with those in the area wanting to see me. I've already talked with a few of you, and plans are still tenuous at best as to where exactly I will end up, but I hope to see many of you. I miss you all greatly!! I know I won't be able to see as many as I'd like due to geographic barriers (Shanna, Amanda, and Amy, that's speaking to you especially! *hugs*), but any of you in the area that would like to see me for a day, I'll be there. And I'll probably pass through around New Year's day as well. My plans after the wedding itself are still a bit fuzzy. In fact, it's possible that I could spend the 30th and the 31st with some of you, if you want. I just have to get back to my relatives by the 1st, since my flight back is the 2nd.
So that's my news. Till next time!!
