holy shit!!!
I got the job. For those of you following along offline, I got some random recruiter call in mid-Feb about a Business Analyst position. I interviewed. I interviewed again (on my birthday!). I got a call yesterday on the way home, and they emailed me an offer. Today, I faxed back my acceptance and handed my resignation to the very best boss I have ever had. No company loyalty here, this place blows. But loyalty to the man? Yes. I have never felt so conflicted about leaving a job, and it's all because of this guy I've been working for for the last 10 months.
What else is going on? Mini-me is kicking ass and taking names in school. Details when the report card comes out, I don't want to jynx her!!!
I'm getting married. Wow. That's huge. Very, very HUGE. Ginormous. We're getting married in stages. Coming up first is a civil ceremony with a JP. Later, when I've had time to plan it and make it beautiful, there will be a handfasting in OKC. I have a date, a time, a location, an angel-saint-volunteer taking care of invitations... A dress, a dress... my kingdom for a dress. I have a pattern. Let's see if I can make it work!
My brother is moving out at the end of the month. Does he have a place to move to? No. Do I care? No.

To get me back and forth to my new job, I may need a new car. I'm going to drive ol' bessy till she croaks. But with weather warming and an hour each way back and forth to work every day... I fear for her. Anyone know a place that will pass me on my inspection? I'm due this month. Oh, and how safe and reliable is the Bush Turnpike between I35E and 75????
