Oh, thank you! I can't help picturing Lil' Miles as a little... well, hopeless in some things, but so very Miles that he'd get over anything. Or at least break his bones trying.

I really like all of these shorts but if you don't mind me saying so you do make a few grammatical errors which show that English isn't your first language. (Whilst, at the same time, using a breadth of vocabulary which I wouldn't be able to begin to attempt in any language other than my mother tongue.) I'm not holding myself out as an expert grammarian but I would be happy to beta for you for general "Englishness" if you like. (NB it would be English rather than American but I don't think thats anachronistic for Vorkosigan because LMB is so influenced by Heyer and Dunnett).

Oh, this is so gorgeous and sad at the same time. And funny too: he is pretty certain as well that none of the gorgeous beasts regular knights ride have undignified names such as Fat Ninny. lol! Also Ivan: ‘I don’t look like a… a… whatever you called me!’
But I loved the ending. Poor Miles, he dreams of slaying a dragon but he can't get a kite down from a tree.
