Sunlight, how annoying to be followed
I am not digging the latest weather trend. Feels as though I brought the accursed sun with me. There has been a few nice overcast days with rain. But the majority has been sunny and hot. Very unusual for this area. At least I am naturally pale enough to fit in with most locals.
Ran into a kink for the apartment we had lined. A minor setback. Something my friend Matt did. But its ok. Give me more time to save money. Plus shop around a bit more in the different areas. Although we are staying in the same area. Mostly due to the fact that, in geological terms, we have a megaquake subduction zone of the coast. For anyone who is interested to know it would be roughly the same magnitude that brought about the tsunami that took the world by surprise. Our megaquake zone apparently starts shaking every 300 years or so. Its been about that long since the last megashake. So we are "imminently" due for one. But Federal Way is nice sturdy bedrock. We would be spared effects of the tsunami. Apparenlty also safe if Yellowstone decides to hiccup. ]
Went out to peruse the local goth clubs with Matt. It was fun! So were the interior of the clubs. Very artistic. We danced a lot to good dj's. Not one song I wouldn't dance to. I haven't had that much fun since the San Francisco trip. So it was a real treat.
