I bought my nightstand and desk from Target, the South Shore nightstand and South Hampton desk, the nightstand was quite a bit of work but it's a good size for only 60$ the desk was very easy to assemble but is really just a nice looking white table with a pull out computer drawer. The dresser I got from Walmart, the South Shore dresser, it was a lot of work to get it together and my dad and I spent a good few hours getting it built. It looks nice and is large enough for my clothes but we had to be really careful because some of the screws tended to strip and the screws on the sides of the drawers HAVE to be in 100% or the drawers won't fit in the slides. Ultimately I like the look and function of pretty much everything I bought but it takes a lot of work and you will definitely need someone handy with a screwdriver to help you put it all together. I looked at Ikea but I didn't like any of their dressers, tho I am thinking of going back to get a bookcase. As for rugs, I have no idea where to get a nice area rug but was going to go to Bed Bath and Beyond today- whew that was a lot, my advice is to look at Ikea Walmart and Target online and compare prices and definitely read customer reviews!
