The Colonies Revisited
Today seemed almost normal. I got home from work about 10:30 am and opened up the apartment. Then piddled around for a while before finally popping in one of the DVDs of Battlestar Galactica. Of course the first episode I watched was Living Legend with the express intention of making as many screen captures as possible. I have this Media player The MP 8 version I had on my first laptop was so much better. All I had to do was hit the pad and the program would automatically make a screen cap. I could make dozens in just seconds without having to stop and use the paint program to save it before going on. It took me 4 hours to get through a 2-hour episode and I missed the first 10 minutes of Defiance, but I got all the ones I wanted. Of course Hubby walks in in the middle of my video and says “Oh so you’re finally getting around to watching this, huh?”
He has no clue WHAT I do around the house when he’s not there. All he knows is he goes to work and I’m on the computer and when he gets home I’m either on the computer or cooking my meals. He really doesn’t know jack shit what I do when he’s not around.
Defiance - Good as always! Nice to have it back for another season.
Dominion - Second episode and I’m still waiting for it to excite me. Soon I hope, or my Thursdays are going to be bleak.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand - I barely made it to the first commercial break. It’s just the 300 under another name. Way too bloody and gory for me. I hope the series dies soon.
Spent some time on Twitter and it seemed to calm me down. I just needed to get away from all the FB drama I suppose.
