Saturday without the park

The day started out as usual. Woke up at 6am, hubby filled me in on the latest neighbors drama. Apparently it involved the neighbors fighting and screaming at each other about 11pm, (how this didn't wake me is still a mystery since I slept with the window craked open for cold yet fresh air) the police, our security company and the drama queens being told that if there's any more nonselse out of them security will have them thrown in jail and press charges. YIPPEE. After that it was so damned peaceful sleeping last night. *sigh*

My BFF calls. Hubby goes grocery shopping, and when he returns he gets back on his couter to do some more writing. Somewhere around lunch time I'm hungry, but then I discover I don't have anything in the fridge or freezer to eat. Everything is either uncooked or frozen. Cooking would take an hour and I was too hungry to wait, so I decided to go to Sonic. Hubby went with me even though he said he was trying no to eat fast food for a month. They do have a good bacon, steak and cheese flat melt though. I enjoyed getting out with him and It seemed like he enjoyed it, too. I asked if he had anything pressing between then (1pm by this time) and 5pm when the race came on and he said he wanted to get back home and finish what he was working on. O-kay. I thought we could spend some time together, maybe take a short drive, but whatever.

While at Sonic there WAS this sweet Model T that I got pictures of. NOTE: The man in the orange hat is the car owner and the girl is his granddaughter. (Posted behind the link) I'm trying not to be disappointed. At least I have my Facebook games and my writing to occupy my time with. WTF-ever!

This is the owner and his granddaughter.
