I don't know what happened here. True, the lists are much more comprehensive. . . there are a lot of authors that in my bookstore days I filed under "Romance" and "Mystery" and straight "Fiction", but which I assume (because of their presence on this list) use some SFF elements; I would not expect myself to have read any of those people. But still. . . the 90s so far are not looking good.
