That was terrifying

I just completed an interview for an internship position this summer. Over the phone, since the job is in Washington, and I'm in California. I hope they couldn't tell how insanely terrified I was. I hope I didn't sound like an idiot. I'm swimming in sweat right now. Doesn't help that it's pretty warm here.

*slumps over*

Yeah, well, you know how it is. Plus, since this was my first ever job interview, I was of course experiencing a far worse case of the jitters than you'd normally expect.

As long as you didn't actually *tell* them you were terrified, you should have done really well. Just don't worry about it and work yourself up into a frenzy over it, cause thats just a waste of energy. :)

Haha, no, I was smart enough to not do that. I think it went decently well in the latter part when I calmed down enough to really consider what kind of things I should add in.

*hugs back* Thanks :)

Ooh, good luck!

I hate talking to people on the phone. But, the good thing about it is that at least they can't see you. :)

Thanks :)

Yeah, I hate it too. I don't know, there's just something about it that freaks me out a little. And yes, that was good, because it meant I didn't have to dress up, and could be the normal sloppy college student I am :P

Good luck with your new job, btw
