So with the slow loading of the site I didn’t get an update today. Instead I might just do a MySQL backup, delete this previous database and reload it again. This is getting to be a pain cause I have done everything I can to make the site load normally. Apparently it’s loading slow on my end and I don’t know about the visitors though. Not too sure if it’s loading slow on their end or not because I’ve gotten no feedback as of late, but I’m guessing if it’s loading slow on my end and all my other site load fast it’s just this site right? So just going to try to fix it.
It has been like this for about a week now and caching doesn’t seem to help either. Cause with caching I have to visit every single posts and page to make sure it load up fast and if I am visiting those pages for the first time the loading will still be slow. And I have added the wordpress caching a few days ago running it for the first time and oh my gosh it just seems slower cause I went to 5 pages and posts and it was horrendously unbearable. I feel like my site is the only site that is slow and is running on a dial-up stone age modem.
I check my MySQL database in phpMyAdmin and there was a warning saying that working with linked tables has been disabled. Now I would enable this but apparently I don’t have the full access to the backend of the server. I mean all I have to do it go into the mySQL config and find the variables that allows enabling/disabling the table linking and it should be working fine right? Well doing something that should only take 10 mins to test out and try doesn’t seem to be the case these days.
So I’m just going to try backing up my database deleteing it from the server and reupload it to see if that fixes anything. If not then well I guess no updates until I get this resloved or move to Smackjeeves/Drunkduck.
