First off I want to give an update on the giveaway. I’ve added this box to the giveaway post so it could keep track of who has entered and would give me an email to contact the winners without having them post it up on the site. Don’t worry no spam will be involved.
With this it helps me keep track of points for those that joined and what they did to get those points so you don’t have to do so many edits to a comment you just posted. So to those that already entered the giveaway by tweeting thanks a bunch I will add those to your entries, and you can get an extra entry point by using the box above. Had to get the giveaway box off this post cause it was doing a double post on the give away box on the front page. Check the updated way to enter the giveaway at the link banner above or
here. Also you may notice a little popup when visiting. The program also allows you to gain loyalty points every time you visit. So each visit would gain you 100 points and when you accumulate those points you can use them to purchase rewards like gift certificates for ebay or Groupon etc. =3 How great is that?
Now for my review. I’m actually obsessed with false eyelashes now, since I find that my eyelashes are very small and I don’t seem to have a lot of. So with false eyelashes you need to use the right eyelash glue to keep them stuck on your lids for a majority of the day. Honestly I tried Ardell’s eyelash adhesive, which everyone recommended at the time and while I liked it, I didn’t find it keeping my lashes on all day. Usually in about 3 hours of wear the edge of the lashes start to peel off. I always tend to adjust it every 10 minutes when this happen.
So I did some research and found out that you can use double eyelid glue as an alternative for eyelash glue. So lucky me I got some of it free with one of my ebay orders and I tried it out. The eyelash glue was sticky when dried and well it held for quite longer than the Ardell lash adhesive. So I went with this free eyelash glue for the next few months and order another one off ebay, but it got to the point where I could deal with the stickyness of this type of eyelid glue. I mean it is just a generic cheap brand of glue so it’s bound to be how it is.
I went and decided to order this:
Koji Eyetalk Double Eyelid glue.
Yes it’s for making double eyelid. Although I don’t really need it to make double eyelids I used it to put on my false eyelashes. The first day I used this and I was happy with the results. First off it’s white liquid that dries clear and a bit sticky, but it’s not too sticky as the previous eyelid glue was. So that was a plus. Secondly I used it on my false lashes and stuck it on and had no problems about the edges not flaring out. After a 6 hour day out with my husband and daughter the lash glue still stayed on without the edges coming out. I was happy with this.
I will have to do a sleep test with Ardell, and Koji and post pictures of that to see how it handles overnight wear, but I will have to say if you want long lasting adhesive a double eyelid glue will do better than the adhesives.
At least from my experience.
