The first thing I read, when I asked what my lesson was for today...
Judgment and condemnation are behind you, and unless you bring them with you, you will see that you are free of them. Look lovingly upon the present, for it holds the only things that are forever true. All healing lies within it because its continuity is real.
The light that shines in each of us is what we can lovingly behold in the present, when we, through the miracle of forgiveness, unlock the chains of judgment and condemnation. In this passage we also find Jesus juxtaposing the Holy Spirit's view of the continuity of time with the ego's. The Holy Spirit sees the only continuous time as the present, the "now" we all share because we are all of one mind. The ego, however, breaks the present into past, present, and future thereby fulfilling its aim of keeping us separate. Thus, the ego's version of continuity is one of its principal defenses against the Holy Spirit's healing, which lies only in the present.
I judge my present with my past and what my future may bring. My EGO gets in the way of my happiness. I seem to have a problem forgiving those that have let me down. Maybe I just let myself down by expect so much from them. I need to forgive myself for doing this, and turning the world against me.
Today I forgive those people and wish them well on their way thru the present we call our lives.
Good Bye, this maybe the last post. I think this maybe the end of Shirley as you once knew her. I'm rebirthing today with hopes of being a better human being, friend, lover, wife, sister, mother and god. I guess I want to rebirth to my divine self.
