(no subject)
Well I went and did it again. Dropped of the face of the earth and stopped checking or posting in the journal but at least this time I have a decent excuse. My desktop broke down again (I can boot it up but on the log in screen the mouse freezes and i can't log in) and I'm into my second week of classes. Math (remedial BTW) has turned about how I expected which is to say it is a veritable mountain of academic challenge. Oddly enough though, while I still finding it incredibly daunting, I find I'm taking a lot more joy out of it then I ever remember doing. Maybe I've learned to appreciate a challenge. :)
In my spare time, which is steadily shrinking, I've been trying to resurrect that Van Helsing fanfic I started some three or four years ago but while I've tweaked earlier chapters to my satisfaction I've gotten stuck round about chapter 14. I may have to let it die. :(
