No Shadow Taller Than Our Souls by khasael [PG]
Summary: Auror Potter and Unspeakable Malfoy team up to investigate a series of missing persons, and it soon becomes apparent that Dementors are involved. Despite their initial misgivings, Harry and Draco find that they need each other's help, in more ways than one.
Wordcount: 41k

This story was so riveting, I couldn't put it down from the moment I started reading. I loved how the mystery slowly unravels, and how the author incorporated so many prompt ideas and bringing it to life in such a spectacular fashion. The way Harry and Draco gradually become closer as friends, then as partners was amazing; the transition and their interactions and relationship felt really natural.

The Mystery of the Dead Man's Curse by astardanced77 [PG]
Summary: An unsolved mystery, an ancient curse and a new librarian. Harry is back at Hogwarts where strange things are afoot!
Wordcount: 29K

I was thoroughly invested in the characters, their relationships, and how the story had me guessing every step of the way. The characterisation of everyone was top-notch; I especially loved how Harry, Ron and Draco were written. There were so many delightful turn of phrases, so many cute and funny moments - just awesome!

Annus Mirabilis by renrenren3 [NC-17]
Summary: Harry and Malfoy are trapped at Hogwarts around the time the school was founded. Stuck with a different way of doing magic, with no chocolate, and with each other, they have to find a way to work together if they want a chance to go home.
Wordcount: ~40k

Having the boys trapped together and gradually warming up to each other is one of my favourite tropes and the author did it so well. I was fascinated by her take on the founders era, and the magical aspects of how they were trapped in this medieval world was awesome.

More Fan Fair recs coming soon! (Eeep, I'm still going through the entries!)
