Super Simple Creme Caramel

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SMOOCHIES. <3

Hee, I am home early today so I made these...
and stir fry long beans and scrambled eggs with rice for dinner. xD

Ingredients:
I eye-balled the ingredients based on the size of my bowls
6 tablespoon of white sugar
 3.5 bowls of whole milk
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions:
First, leave the sugar in the saucepan on medium heat. Keep an eye on it but do not stir. When the edge of the sugar starts to dissolve, give the pan a good shake and leave it. Once 3/4 quarters has melted, use a wooden spoon and stir it gently. When all the sugar turns runny and golden, take the pan off the heat and pour the caramel into your bowls.

Using the same saucepan, bring your milk to a simmer. When the crystallised sugar at the bottom of the pan melts, turn off the heat.

In a mixing bowl, beat up your eggs.

And slowly drizzle your heated milk into the mixing bowl, whisking as you pour.

Next, add the vanilla extract, stir, and after that, pour the mixture into your caramel-lined bowls through a sieve.

Steam it or bake it in a water bath for 15-25 minutes (or until the custard is set).

Once it's cooled down, stick it into the fridge for several hours. You could wrap the top with cling film so that it wouldn't dry out.

When you're ready to serve, take a knife and loosen the edges. Flip it over a plate and you're good to go.

Optional: Serve with fresh fruits or cream.

I haven't turned it out yet because they are still in the fridge, but they should look a little like these. Nomnomnom. xD
