Alicia Starts Over
So I've had my LJ since august last year but I was just using it to save quiz results. Today I just decided to delete all my quiz results and actually blog.. like a normal person. And talk to people on here like a normal person. And join communities. Yay for odd, random, decisions! I just wanted everyone to know that I've been on live journal longer than it appears. lamo .... now for actual blogging.
We had to write an essay about Utopia today at school and it got me thinking a lot. (Yes, me thinking) Could there be such a thing as utopia on earth? Utopia means no disease or death. How would you appreciate every moment of life then? There would be no hunger and no hunger means food doesn't taste quite as sweet. There would be no wealth. How could you feel the same joy as finding $50 on the road if your poor or donating money to a charity if your rich? Life would become somewhat dull....wouldn't it? Utopia would be boring, barely worth being called life. And because Utopia is perfect Utopia can't be boring, right? So Utopia can't exist? 0_o But maybe we already live in Utopia. Sure we have the bad but doesn't the bad make the good even better? So imperfection is perfection I guess. I prob. didn't make any sense to anyone right there because I lack the ability to sort out my thoughts and to communicate them correctly so yeah. ^_^
