I realized that I haven't really said Hi to you before, so I figured I would stop by and do so.^^
Well I'm Liz and I live in Ohio in the US.^^ Really random place to find a kpop fan.
I actually read this awhile ago but didn't say anything. I'm bad about commenting, though I'm getting better^^"
I haven't listend to Kanjani8 though I may give them a listen later, if I think about it. But I have listened to a bunch of Japanese bands. (I kind of listen to anything at least once and so I have music in about 6 languages on my mp3 player. English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, German, and Romanian. I might have a russian song, I forget.)
I can't say I got into Suju immediately either, though I did liked their songs (except miracle) from the beginning. literally from the beginning. I've always said that becoming an ELF was fate for me. I found Knock out like a week after they debuted, liked the song, favorited it on Youtube. Thne once Miracle came out I listened, decided I didn't like it that much so ignored it. Then U came out and I randomly found it right away and favorited it. Then thought oh hey is that the same band who did that other song and found KNock out again and went okay I like them. Same thing with DOn't don. Randomly happened across the song right around the release, liked it and then realized it was the same band again, and I did this for the next few songs until sorry sorry came out. I finally decided with sorry sorry (and looking up that it was the same band that had all those other songs I liked) that I needed to actually find out more about the band and started learning about the members and watching various shows and realized that these guys are all a bunch of talented dorks.
People always ask me why I like the Korean bands because I can always tell them artists names and songs and what not, but you ask me about an american band there is only a small chance I can tell you anything about them, even if I like some of their music. But I always tell anyone who asks, that the reason I like the Korean Idols more is because they are still down to earth and so real. American celebrates in my opinion, always become so full of themselves and feel like they are in a higher level then everybody else and I hate that. I can watch a Korean band especially one like Suju and see how they really are. A bunch of dorks who love music or dancing. They aren't afraid to "ruin" their images being themselves. They openly make fun of each other but show how much they care and it's so easy to see them as a bunch of guys how have lived together for years. But then they also care soo much about their fans and even other fans, that even if something happens to them they still worry about any fans in the area or anywhere in general. They even buy food and drinks for them and that makes them really special.
Pairings? I like some of the Norm. Eunhae Hanchul and Kangteuk, because all three seem so real to me that I couldn't argue with them. But My bias is KRY and I see them as a total OT3 and love any form of the three of them. But Kyusung is my ulitmate fav. and they are tied for my otp with Hanchul^^ But I also like Simin (siwon/sungmin) and Zhoury. so it's kind of spilt on out there pairings and normal pairings. but then I'm really stuck on my pairing choices. I really don't read anything else or write anything else. It's just how I am even though I have friends who are big Kyumin fans (I have turned a couple to also being Kyusung fans or at least admit that there is something between them^^)
Haha I think I'm really chatting at you. Such a long post. It's nice meeting you officially now, even though we have talked over some comments^^
