Too many Americans think of children as little more than the consequences of sex, the repercussions or fall-out of physical intimacy.
American religion is no better, forecasting children as an unmarried couple's reprisal or comeuppance for the "sin" of sexual activity.
Not enough Americans focus on children as children, instead of focusing on the sexual activity which is their origin.
