OMG what`s that fuzzy thing on my dresser?!
No this IS NOT an april fools joke. seriously.
A girl on my facebook who I know through the EQUESTRIAN TEAM(!!!) posted a status saying that if someone didnt take her hamster off her hands she was 1) putting it up on Kijiji (where it is WELL KNOWN that ppl take "free" hamsters, mice, rats etc as live snake food :|) or 2) releasing it into the wild... in Canada... in the middle of downtown... riiight
So I called mom and asked if the family would like to adopt Hammy 2.0 as that was how we acquired our first "hammy" - through friends who no longer wanted him. Needless to say Mom and my bro said yes.. as long as i cleaned up after him 70% of the time (Bro agreed to 30% responsibility haha)
So I am now the proud owner of a Hammy hamster! and considering the girl was "afraid" of him (she hadn't cleaned his cage and he was VERY VERY smelly. car ride home was PAINFUL!) and he therefore hadnt been socialized, he's pretty darn friendly.. sorta attempts to follow me around in his rolly-ball exercise thingie (pics to come later!) and is pretty ok with me picking him up (im sure its more i dont smell familiar than anything else)
anywhoo onto the fuzzy-butt himself!
