I command you all to listen to The Kleptones. They offer all of their music for download free on their website so check it out unless you don't like ill beats or art.
Aside from the Kleptones I've been listening to lots of Ska lately, mostly from the 2tone era, like The Specials and Madness. The Specials have a knack for haunting Cure-esque tracks but with a funk/reggae edge that adds a more positive spin to it, plus they use horns and organs much more liberally than the Cure and Lord knows I loves me some orchestral music.
Tonight is my last night of work before Barter Fair but we won't leave until Thursday night it looks like. Hopefully I can arrange a decent amount of money in time. Anybody else out there in internet land going? We have a few open spots in the van (yes, I'm going to Tonasket in a VW van...) if you're considering it but in need of transport. Get ahold of me.
